TORONTO POP-UP

NO.8

A new experience inspired by merging Killing Eve & Suspiria
...set in an eclectic, industrial loft.
PREMISE OF THE EXPERIENCE

A forensic artist, June, goes outside of her role to track a sociopathic murderer at large. Her brother, Leroy, is worried for her after seeing her forget important family gatherings. He arranges a surprise birthday celebration for her...even going an extra mile to reach out to June's old friend to help.

You've all been invited to be a part in creating a surprise flash-mob for June. What Leroy doesn't know that he's not the only one planning a surprise for her birthday…

INSPIRATION BEHIND THIS EXPERIENCE

Eve from Killing Eve

It didn’t take me long to fall in love with Sandra Oh’s ‘Eve’ from Killing Eve. An idealistic and occasionally stubborn MI5 officer, her emotional qualities made many colleagues write her off as naive or inept. However, her uncompromising tenacity leads her to her target more effectively than anyone could foresee.

Susie from Suspiria

Susie doesn’t say much for a protagonist. Instead, her actions speaks volumes. Though the movie itself takes a frighteningly gory turn, what was admirable to reflect on was how Susie never felt compelled to parade her virtues when people questioned her place. Commanding attention with grace and focus, Susie is an embodiment of taking ownership of where you belong.
